Whose Side Are
These People On?
Radical activist groups like SUWA and the Utah Sierra Club want to
re-shape Utah. They want bigger government that controls more
of our lives. They want less economic growth and fewer jobs
created. They want Utahns to pay higher prices for energy so
we are forced to conserve.
Increasingly, people across the state are asking a simple question:
whose side are these people on?
Before you offer your views on that question below, consider these
three simple
facts:
FACT #1: SUWA
and the Utah Sierra Club want to stop Utah from
harvesting more of our state's abundant oil, natural gas and
coal resources.
That makes us more dependent on hostile foreign nations for
those resources. FACT #2:
Supporters of terrorism like Iran's Mahmoud Ahmadinejad and Venezuela's
Hugo Chavez want to see Utah harvest less American
oil and gas so we continue our dependence on their energy.
That way, we continue to send them money that they use to fund terrorist operations against
American troops and citizens overseas.
FACT #3: These groups also
want to shut down large power plants in Utah and across America,
which threatens to destabilize our economy and further weaken
our national security.
Given these facts, whose side do you think these groups are
on? Give us your thoughts below. We'll post a
sampling of opinions given by Utahns in the weeks ahead.
